My Story & Calling
Daniel Kwadwo Akomea-Agyin is a Pastor, Teacher, and "Activate Your True Potential" advocate — a Transformational Speaker and Total Digital Innovation Consultant with a special focus on the local church. His calling is simple and profound: to help people encounter God, grow in faith, and step fully into the life He has prepared for them.
Daniel has been preaching since 2012, beginning on Facebook before the world knew what social media ministry could become. Then, in 2019–2020, everything changed. After a profound encounter in which God delivered him from death, Daniel embarked on a journey of faithful ministerial calling that led him to Calvary Methodist Church in Ghana, where he became a certified Lay Preacher. That season of surrender set the course for everything that followed.
In September 2022, Daniel came to the United States to pursue a Master of Divinity degree — and he has not stopped serving. Since arriving, he has preached in 21+ different congregations across the country and currently pastors 5+ churches concurrently — a testament to the trust placed in him and the breadth of his calling. His ministry has taken him through New Life International UMC in Alexandria, Virginia; Greenwood Memorial UMC in Dorchester, Boston, MA; Washington Church of the Brethren in Washington, DC; and Hope United Methodist Church in Vienna, VA — among many others. He continues to minister actively on YouTube, Facebook, and other social media channels — because the pulpit, for Daniel, has no walls.
He holds a Master of Divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC, and is a Licensed Local Pastor in the Susquehanna Conference of the United Methodist Church, currently on the elder ordination track. He loves to preach, teach, pastor, disciple, and walk alongside people on their spiritual journey.
Before the seminary, Daniel spent 15 years building a distinguished career in IT and Telecommunications. An expert in digital transformation, project management, solution design, and business analysis, he led high-impact projects across 13 countries in Africa, South America, and Europe — spanning Telecommunications, Banking, Government, Oil & Gas, Education, and Fintech. He holds a Master of Research in Business Administration (Advanced MBA) and a Bachelor's in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a focus on ICT and Telecommunications.
Daniel has also served as a summer intern at the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Washington, DC, where he deepened his collaborative leadership in ministry alongside correctional staff, volunteers, and faith-based organizations — an experience he believes has sharpened his calling in ways he could not have anticipated.
Daniel is a published author. His works include:
- Activate God's Presence at Will — written during a season of personal grief following the loss of his beloved sister-in-law to cancer.
- Fervent Wisdom — a collection of thought-provoking poems exploring faith, truth, and the tensions surrounding theology and human understanding.
- How to Walk with God, Volume 1 — a practical and spiritual guide centered on helping people develop a genuine, lasting relationship with God.
Daniel and his wife, Nancy, will celebrate twelve years of marriage this December. Together, they are raising their three children: Yaw (11), Afia (8), and Kofi (6) — a household full of faith, laughter, and purpose.
